Closer to YUM!

I haven't been all here lately.... bad boy, I know, and I realized I missed the updates on two new items, so I thought I'd be nice and go back and highlight them now.



The First of two items is called Closer from the See No Evil Line. Its a simple blindfold with a prim body hung up on the nose arch and brow. Yes, to the very religious it may be a little.... sacrilege, but I'm not the most religious person anyway. And yes, for any that may have caught on, I was listening to one of my favorite bands when I was building this. If you can find me in world, and tell me what band I was listening to while I made this blindfold, I will give you a cookie. Seriously, I will.

Closer is part of the See No Evil blindfold line and is set for sale for 60 L.



the Second of the two items is called YUM! Brain Candy. The story behind it was I was thinking for something to add to the Brains Hunt of FallnAngel Creations, and well.. RL got ahold of me, so I missed its deadline. I hate bugging to be put onto something after a deadline, so I respected it and instead finished building the item to just up up for sale. This is the after product of that fub-up.

The Yum! Line will be a Strange Candy line of mine with various twisted themes and funnies as I come up with them. I do have a few more in line and in between other projects you will see them pop up. This one showcases an autumn theme with candy corn and candied brains. MMMmmmmm!! Each candy bag has an eating animation I made for it. Also with each bag comes a sucker, cause really.. who does not need suckers? This one has a brain on a stick!

the Yum! line also will be sold for 60 L a piece. It's a no copy but transferable line because let's face it. Candy is meant to be shared!

Updates and Stuff!

Mori's Pants are filled with goodies again.

First off, I'd like to say, I'm not changing out the Midnight Mania board... yet, so enjoy a few more days of its current prize, the couple's animation My Snuggly Pillow.

Also, a new item!!

Here is Yum!, a line of food to carry and eat with a strange twist. The First candy out is Brain Candy!



There is also THREE new hunts this month! We are proudly a part of the Let's Go Nuts! Hunt, The Simply Mad Hunt, and the Twisted Rose Hunt!

I have two of the three items to show you today, the Twisted Rose prize is a special edition petbed with changing pillow textures and poses.



And the Simply mad Hunt has a special Edition Top Hat seat that is a sneak peek of my new furniture Line, the Hatter.



Not Pictured is the Let's go Nuts! hunt which is also special edition (i love those XD ) Corn Candy, with displays both candy corn and acorns with an acorn lollipop!

There is a new Mori's marbles out and hidden in the store for your pleasure, and as the All Hallow's Eve hunt comes to a close, I will have the Hunt prize in the freebie area for a while longer, as it will not be sold in the store at any time.

All Hallow's Eve Hunt!

This hunt will go from October 1 through Oct. 31st! and has all hunters turned into ghost hunters! (your object is a hidden single prim ghost). What's the prize in Mori's Pants? Here's some pictures for you!

Read a Banned Book!

Mori's Pants Faerie here again with a slightly more somber - and yet somehow styling - post today. You'll see me again near the bottom, with a lovely piece of furniture, but please read about banned books in the meantime.

What is Banned Books Week?

Banned Books Week is the only national celebration of the freedom to read. It was launched in 1982 in response to a sudden surge in the number of challenges to books in schools, bookstores and libraries. More than a thousand books have been challenged since 1982. The challenges have occurred in every state and in hundreds of communities. People challenge books that they say are too sexual or too violent. They object to profanity and slang, and they protest against offensive portrayals of racial or religious groups--or positive portrayals of homosexuals. Their targets range from books that explore contemporary issues and controversies to classic and beloved works of American literature.



Popular books to be challenged to be banned or have at one time been banned are like the following:

So as Binky seems to like Blindfolds, here is a new line for the blindfold enthusiasts..

See no Evil! an entire accessory line decidated to blindfolds, eye covers eye patches and the like. The First in the line to be put out. The Native Blind Fold



its a sculpted blindfold with bone attachments and feathers and yes.. .that IS a spoon. There was no spoon, and then I found a rusted one.

It's up for sale in the main store for 60L and is mod/copy ok, but no transfer.

Also as a side note, we have two new hunts coming up. the All Hallow's Eve Hunt and the Let's go Nuts! autumn hunt. More info on those as the hunts get closer.

BDSM Fetish Hunt... again XD

Azzy likes to do last minute changes. Azzy also likes to chew his tail.

Anywho, so I felt bad that my BDSM Hunt prize was ONLY for submissives and cutesy, so I made a special edition pillow in a traditional style with 4 textures and the same 4 poses. Then... I too those textures and made 4 MORE poses.. for Dominants. The result... the Master's Chair. There will be a Master's Chair out for sale, but it'll look different. this too is an exclusive for the BDSM hunt.

Twisted Hunt - Fall 2010 - Ghostly Coven

Hi! It's Mori's Pants Faerie again, and have I got an amazing surprise for you today! I opened my inventory and inside of it was - OMG!!! - Azzycat's prize for the Twisted Hunt! This is a real treat and an absolute dream. It seats four people using this awesome menu system which I just love and makes an awesome creepy piece of furniture for your basement or crypt. At only ten prims, it's a lot of bang for your buck.

I called over some of my awesome creepy friends to give it a while and snapped a few pictures. Check it out!


This is just the coffin, so you can see all of the details - like the adorable heart cushions. I love them so much!!


When people are posing on it, it conceals some of the detail, but as you can see the poses themselves are absolutely delightful. In addition to the traditional corpse or vampire pose, you have a variety of hangers-on, both mournful and relaxed. I think this really makes it versatile for use, especially for the sanguinites among us.


This is a close up of the person resting in peace, and the default pose when you sit on the coffin. Azriel Demain makes a lovely zombie catching a few zzzzs before rampaging again.

A blue menu should pop up when you sit, offering you the ability to adjust your placement or chose other sits, and there are three more possible sits in place. If you lose the shiny blue menu, just click the coffin again to bring it up.


Sometimes, a death is just a good reason to hand out near coffins, and that's what this lounge pose allows you to do, while overseeing your corpse of choice. Satoshi Fallen is lounging over the zombie, waiting to guide him to more and more depraved acts which I know absolutely nothing about!


For some people, mourning is the more appropriate response - even if we're mourning a brain-nomming zombie! Samhain Balbozar is weeping his adorable heart out in the mourn pose. Isn't he cute?


And finally we come to the pose I simply had to be in. Some of us just feel the need to hang out, no matter how sad the occasion, and this pose offers not only a lovely hang over the top of the coffin lid, but also the cutest foot kick ever known to faekind. The picture does not do it justice, trust me on this!

I hope this helps lure you to Mori's Pants for some awesomely twisted hunting! The prize is well worth the looking, I promise!

Imminent Hunts for MPD!

Hi! I'm your friendly, neighborhood Faerie and the official Mori's Pants Faerie! Mori and Azzy asked ever so nicely if I could let everyone know about the hunts, and so I am!

Mori's Pants will be in several hunts soon and has one going on right now, and I'm incredibly excited by them! I love hunts, don't you?

Right now, there is a hunt for Mori's Marbles, which he lost in his pants (silly vampire!). It's a group only hunt, so come on over and join the Mori's Pants Design update group and then get to hunting! You can imagine that what you'd find in a vampire's marbles has to be good!

On September 1st the Twisted Hunt begins, and it runs through the 30th! Look forward for a heads up here as to what Azzycat's awesome hunt prize is going to be. The 2010 Fall Twisted hunt already has an official blog, a flicker group, and the Love / Hate Blog will be showcasing other prizes from the hunt as well.

****~The History of MP Designs~****
             
MP Designs was originally called Eccentricities by Azzy and has been around roughly since the latter half of 2005.  Through several location changes and look overhauls the store's had its ups and downs.

With the most recent change, it was decided by the store owner and his partners that a name change was in order as now not everything is "by Azzy".  The simplest change was the choice accepted.  The store was renamed the name of the land it is now on, Mori's Pants.

Q. Why did you name a land parcel Mori's Pants?

A. All the creative team of MP Designs met and frequently chatter away in store group called FallnAngel Creations. Both store owners not only share the same first name but several years of deep friendship. Several years back in that chat, a running joke started that still appears in the chat today.  This is the subject of Mori's Pants and that everything and everyone lives and comes out of his pants. 

As an ode to that initial friendship, the creators all decided to keep the land parcel named Mori's Pants, and when the store Eccentricities came into their home, it to as tribute, changed its name.

So there you have it.  We all live in Mori's pants.  We all work in Mori's Pants.  We welcome you to shop and enjoy the stranger than normal humor.. of Mori's Pants too!
